nieuwe ATCs / new ATCs

Vanavond heb gewerkt aan mijn ATCs voor een tweetal swaps waarvoor ik me heb opgegeven op ATCards.com. Voor alle ATCs heb ik stempels gebruikt van ClubStamp (Sience kit en Framed kit). Helaas zie je op het camera kaartje helemaal niet dat deze 3D is.

This evening I worked on my cards for two of the swaps I signed up for at ATCards.com. I used stamps from ClubScrap/Stamp for all cards (from the Science and Framed kits). Unfortunately the photo of the Camera ATC doesn't show the 3D effect on it at all.

Deck of Me box

Al eerder had ik het met idee zitten spelen om een jaar lang, iedere week een ATC te maken. Om mijzelf zo iedere week er toe te zetten - ook als m'n hoofd er niet naar staat of ik het 'druk' heb - even creatief bezig te zijn. Enkele dagen geleden kwam ik de Deck of Me challenge tegen (zie links in de sidebar), en moest ik er weer aan denken.

Toen ik gisteren op zoek was naar iets in m'n voorraad papier en andere knutsel spullen kwam ik het setje kaarten&doosje van de ClubStamp Wild Wild West kit tegen en besloot deze meteen apart te houden en er iets mee te doen. Zie hier het resultaat van wat ik met het doosje gedaan heb. Het was een beetje lastig fotograferen door de slechte belichting maar je kunt je er toch wel een voorstelling van maken denk ik. Of ik er vanaf nu al aan ga werken, of dat ik het nog een paar maandjes op zij leg en dan dan heel 2008 aan te gaan werken weet ik nog niet.. Mijn voorkeur gaat eigenlijk uit naar het laatste, dan wordt het een mooi setje 2008.


For a while now I had been thinking about creating an ATC every week for a year long, to make myself do something crafty even if I did not feel like it or was "too busy". Then the other day I ran into this Deck of Me challenge online (see Places to Be in my sidebar), and I had to think of this idea again.

While sorting through my papers and other stuff I ran into this deck of cards&box from the ClubStamp Wild Wild West kit again, and put it aside right away to do something with later that evening. Above is the result of the box. It was kinda difficult making a proper photograph of it, due to bad lighting and such.. but you get an idea I hope:) Now I just have to decide whether to start working on the ATCs right away, or put it all aside for a couple more months and work on the deck all of 2008. The latter actually has my preference, it'll make a nice set of 2008 then.

Clipboard Challange

Tot ik wat nieuwe foto's heb van meer recentere dingen (binnenkort, want ik ben best lekker bezig - nu moet de scanner het alleen weer gaan doen grrr) een foto van een van mijn ClubStamp projecten. Het clipboard komt uit de Workbench kit, het pennepotje rechts is de onderkant van een mailing tube uit de Down to Earth Kit en het kleine doosje rechtsonder is gewoon een luciferdoosje.

Wat ik nog meer heb gebruikt; acrylic verf in diverse kleuren (Apple Barrel ); dragonfly stempels (ClubStamp, Wings kit); achtergrond stempel (ClubStamp, Down to Earth kit(denk ik)); mosaic vierkantjes (ClubStamp, Mosaic Mind kit), swirl stempel (op potje, ClubStamp Down to Earth kit) en de sticker op het luciferdoosje komt uit een stempelpakketje van de Wal-Mart vandaan.

Untill I have some newer images to show (should be soonish, since I have been in a crafting mode - now the scannes will just have to start working again grr), a photograph of one of my previous made projects from ClubStamp. The clipboard is from the Workbench kit, the little pencil jar is made from the bottom of one of the mailing tubes from the Down to Earth kit and the little box is just an altered matchbox.

Ingredients: acrylic paint (Apple Barrel ); dragonfly stamps (ClubStamp, Wings kit); background square (ClubStamp,(can't remember what kit)); mosaic squares (ClubStamp, Mosaic Mind kit), swirl stamp (on the jar, ClubStamp, Down to Earth kit) and a random sticker from a sticker package from the Wal-Mart.
